I’m about to move to an apartment which won’t have a good yard for my bunny. I’m wanting to grow indoor grass for her, I’ve read that oat and wheat grass are good but I’m worried about what soil is safe. Does anyone know any good stuff for this?

The wheat grass I’ve grown for my bunnies in the past usually came in a kit with it’s own soil and container to grow in. Haven’t had any problems with that.

Here is a document I got my partner (the indoor bunny gardener) to write about growing grass indoors.

My husband and make our own soil using coco coir (coconut fiber). We have a large tray full of wheat grass and another full of oat grass. Coco coir works great for a soil base. We're growing wheat grass and oat grass in it.
