Hello Rabbits Online! Long time no see! I'm hoping I can pick your brains about something. I'm considering getting some pet mice, and I wondered if you can predict any potential health risks to my bunny Aria from sharing a room (but not interacting with) mice.
I can predict a few potential risks to the mice (mostly in the realm of respiratory infection or mites from Aria's dusty hay), but if I was my hands between handling, should Aria be okay? Do you know of any diseases/parasites that can spread between mice and rabbits? Would it be safe to use the same brush/dustpan to clean both enclosures?
I'll be crossposting to a mouse forum as well, but hey, if you happen to know of any risk to the mice, I'd love to hear about it as well.
