I was lookingthrough rabbit breeds on the ARBA website, just to see if I couldfigure out what Elf is.http://http://www.arba.net/photo.htm]http://www.arba.net/photo.htm]http://http://www.arba.net/photo.htm[/url]
I'm pretty convinced that she is a Palomino from the look of her. Just to be sure, I looked up Palomino rabbits.

So, being that she looks exactly like the bunnies on those pages, I'm pretty sure that's what I have. She isn't the rabbit I would've picked out, but my son chose her for me. The ill-informed petshop owners assured my husband that she was a dwarf.HA! I could've told them she wasn't just by the ears alone.
After looking at the websites, I was surprised to find out that she is a MEAT rabbit (ugh). Small bones...lots of meat. Yeah, that's my Elf. My dad used to tease me when I was growing up, saying he'd switch the chicken with rabbit meat some day and I'd never know the difference. I boycotted chicken meat for the lonnnnngest time.
So, do you think I'm right? Did I adopt a Palomino into my family?
