hi everyone!
I currently have a lovely bun named Penelope, along with a bunch of other fur babies that are loved and cared for! Although, Penelope is on her own, but I was wondering if she should have a friend? She was bonded with her sister before I adopted her, but sadly her sister passed away. So now I’m wondering about everyone’s opinion on having a friend for their buns. Let me know!

I'm a fan of rabbits having one of their own kind around for companionship. They can only relate so much to us humans.

Is she spayed? Do you have the opportunity to run a few rounds of bunny dating before she selects her potential partner?

I think its always best to try and give rabbits companions of their own species, like samoth says.
I am currently bonding my rabbits together.

My rabbit lives alone/with the kittens. He is very happy, and I would love to get another rabbit though he is not neutered and I don't want fighting. I have read that if you want a very close relationship with your rabbit to only get one. If you get two rabbits they might fight when you let them meet, or they will have a very strong bond and you will be like an extra to them. Though this is not always the case, it does happen. I think that you should get her a friend if she seems lonely. If they fight than you need to separate them, but you probably already know that.
