My female bun has been with us for a week now, and she doesn't seem to be eating that much hay. She goes up to it and eats for a few seconds and then she leaves (unlike my other rabbit who just sits in his litter box and eats for almost hours). To me it looks like she's being really picky with the hay.

I don't really want to change brands because my other rabbit loves the current one. Is there a way to get her to eat more of this hay? We did get some of her old hay from the breeder if that helps.

What else does she eat and how much?

I give her half of a 1/4 cup pellets in the morning and some lettuce in the morning and in the evening. Since yesterday we tried another kind of hay (it smell like camomile) and she seems to like it (she still doesn't eat as much as my other bunny), but still I'd like to get her to like the old hay.

Rabbits will like what they want, just like people. You have had them a whole week? Keep trying. There is nothing wrong with buying different types of hay.
