Best of luck and speedy recovery for him!

How wonderful to have Rescue number 50! Am hoping the rabbit-savvy DVM and staff will take super good care of Nicky. If not too personal, please let me know his former background and how he came into your rescue guardian kindness. You're in my thoughts.

Home and doing fine--just hope he puts up with being penned up for 5 days.
Glad to jear that he's doing okay!
Sure, what other choice does he have? Gliding through walls?

The young now spayed lionhead/dwarf mix (former stray who came our way) is trying to dig out of her ex-pen recovery ward. @Nancy McClelland, since day 2 thru 7 post-op I keep picking her up to check the incision is A-OK and closed tightly.

I tell ya, we have been so lucky--50 neuters/spays and haven't had a problem except with Beth trying to remove her stitches--could not keep a cone on her, so she got staples and was definitely our most expensive rabbit.

Been almost a year now and he's fine. Someone found him dumped in their neighborhood and took him in--had pics on facebook that were amazing as they had 2 cats and a small dog already and he got along fine. He was maybe 10 weeks old and very friendly, so we said we'd take him--so glad we did. He's our 3rd white mini--we had an albino (our avatar) and one with brown eyes and Nicky has blue eyes and still has a great personality. All three were a nick-name for Bunnicula, from the book "the Celery Stalks at Midnight".
