I have a spot in my living room that I'd like to construct my bun's cage in, but it'd have to be 22" wide - is that too narrow? He's a smallish guy, mini lop/lion head, and I'll be getting him a buddy at some point.

the full cage would be 2-3 levels, 22" wide and 13'7 long. He'd have free roam of the house in the evenings when I'm around, but during the day and at night he'd be in the cage.

opinions?

22 inches is a good width. In fact it's very close to a common width for cages as many people who build storage cube cages have cages that are 28 inches wide, so I don't think 22 will be too narrow, especially since you'll have so much length in the other direction.
