I am so sad. My dog diedyesterday. She was my best friend, my unconditional friendfor the last 15 years. She was my first dog, my silly dog, myhard-working dog that loved to chase the birds around theyard. She was so protective over my buns...she would lay bytheir playpens and bark at any bird or cat that would comeclose. I miss her. I miss her floppyears. I miss her fluffy tail. I miss the sound ofhertrotting through the breezeway. Morning playtimewasn't the same without her today. It will never bethe same.

Rainbow Bridge really helped me out. It made so much sense tothe family. I don't have the words for it, but if you lose apet, read it. Believe it. Know it istrue. I know I will meet her there.

Goodbye, Miss Chloe :(

I'm so sorry. Losing animals is sohard, especially when they have been a treasured member of the family,as it sounds Chloe was. This is my all time favorite quoteabout the loss of any animal. It's by Sir Walter Scott

" I have sometimes thought of the final cause of dogs having such shortlives and I am quite satisfied it is in compassion to the human race;for if we suffer so much in losing a dog after an acquaintance of tenor twelve years, what would it be if they were to live double thattime?"

I don't know exactly why, but that always gives me comfort. Isaw that you read the Rainbow Bridge, it's wonderful. My vetgave me a copy after I lost my 13 year old husky. It reallyhelped me though all the animal losses I've suffered since then.

I love you all. I am going to cry. Again.

Thanks

Oh, Kricket. I'm so sorry. I know how you're feeling.

I read a quote recently and really liked it. I don't want tomake you cry more, but it made me feel good. It said:

"If dogs don't go to heaven, then I when I die, I want to go where they go."

"His dog up and died,
Up and died.
After twenty years,
He still grieved."

"Mr. Bojangles"

I'm so sorry, Kricket.

We never do stop missing them when they leave, do we? My heart goes outto you. I will say a very special prayer for you and Miss Chloe tonightand tomorrow. I wish I could bring her back to you.

With Deepest Sympathy,

I am so sorry! :(

Losing a pet is one of the saddest things in life. But fortunately thetime we get to spend with them is one of the happiest things!:) I knowyou have some great memories with her. I hope they help ease your loss.

I am so sorry. I'm sorry you are hurting. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. I found this awhile back.

WE DO NOT NEED A SPECIAL DAY

We do not need a special day
To bring you to our minds
The days we do not think of you
are very hard to find

Each morning when we awake
We know that you are gone
And no one knows the heartache
As we try to carry on

Our hearts still ache with sadness
And secret tears still flow
What it meant to lose you
No one will ever know

Our thoughts are always with you
Your place no one can fill
In life we loved you dearly
In death we love you still

There will always be a heartache
And often a silent tear
But always a precious memory
Of the days when you were here

If tears could build a staircase
And heartaches make a lane
We'd walk the path to heaven
And bring you home again

We hold you close within our hearts
And there you will remain
To walk with us throughout our lives
Until we meet again

Our family chain is broken now
And nothing seems the same
But as God calls us one by one
Thechain will link again
