Nope. :)

Some people here have made a few though. I've seen them on awebsite. Those few people might be trying to work on a standard for them. I'm not sure though.

EDIT: This was the site I found them on - http://www.themaneframe.com/

But people messed up the lions here so bad that they are having trouble getting recognized. lol So I don't think lion lops have much of a future here yet. :p

Nope. They arent in the US, Not even the LionHeads arent at the moment but they are working on it. I have seen them at the show's but thats about it. I dont know if you can show them. I know that the LionHeads you can but they arent ABRA recognizable yet.

I love the LionHead Breed! :inlove:

Admitedly they are still a newish breed here and although there are some cracking examples there is still a way to go. Here's a link to the Lion Lop UK website

Pam what do you mean 'Under current ARBA rules, only 1 lion can be recognized. If the erect ears are recognized first, the lops cannot be accepted'?

So if Lion Heads got accepted they wouldn't accept a lop version or vice versa? May I ask why? What is the rule?

Below photos of my latest REW Lion Lop kit at about 5 weeks old. He is a single mane.

Current ARBA rules specify that new breeds must be significantly different from each other. The only difference between the 2 versions of the lions is the ear carriage.

oic! In the Uk there is a slight variation in standard as the lion headsare a little heavier. Whereas the lion lop more closely follows the mini (holland) lop standard.

Thanks Pam
