Hi

My name is Debs and I have kept/bred rabbits since I was 8 years old (40ish years now!)

Myself and my daughter havebeen exhibiting our rabbits for about 2 years now with some nice successes for newcomers. Although I had a brief time showing in my late teens.

I have a small rabbitry and so does my daughter (although we are both hoping to expand!)

We have mini lops (hollands) and concentrate on mostly otter, rew, sooty fawns (tort?) and choc tort, lion lops (a new venture) and a few Hulstlanders (avery handsomebreed). My daughter also has dwarf lops (not sure butI think they are called mini lops in the States?)

Primarily they are loved as pets, secondary is the showing.

We have a website but unsure if it's ok to post it on here, so won't!

I had already done a couple of posts before I realsied I hadn't introduced my self, sorry!

Look forward to joining in.

Debs

Hiya Debs and welcome to the forum :D:welcome1

I am from Wokingham, if you know it- near Reading, Bracknell etc. :)

Let me welcome you to Rabbits Online, my name is Dave and I am a moderator on the forum. So if I can be of any help please let me know. This is a terrific website for rabbits and their slaves, not only is it very active but also friendly. I am so glad you’re here and I know you will enjoy it.

There is no problem with posting a link to your rabbitry. The only thing not allowed in public threads would be negotiating on the price of a bun. Prefer you do that in PM's or email. I look forward to seeing pictures.

If you everhave a sick bunny, please post in The Infirmary and include your rabbit's age, breed and health history as well diet and output details leading up to the problem.

I have listed some links I thought you might find interesting:

*For reference the Library section

*To brag or tell everyone about the antics of your bunny or just to talk about your day here is where to start a Bunny Blog, you can also look back at it later and remember when you had a life before your bunny.

*Now all the bunny’s like talk to each other when we mere slaves aren’t around in the Bunny Chat is the spot to be.

*Rabbits Online also has regional forums , this a good way to find a vet in your area that has experience with rabbits and to find out from other nearby of good sources of rabbit supplies.

The Let Your Hare Down section is for anything non-bunny related.

Here is a link tothat will help you and your bunny to connect, How To Bond With Your Bunny.

Now every forum has rules and ours can be found with this link Rabbits Online Forum Rules. This gives guidelines on what is acceptable, what is not and how we hope everyone will treat each other.

Everyone on this forum loves to see pictures of each other’s bunnies. So if you would like to post a picture this link will help you do that, Upload Photo's to Photo Gallery. Then in the post, you click on the "G" in the tool bar to insert your photo.

I am glad you have joined rabbits online and I look forward to seeing you around.

Thanks again for your warm welcome x My daughter and I have a website (although always changing/updating!)
We are going to the Essex Championships this weekend and picking up some Havanas, a new breed for us but very excited about this.
The website is

I could post plenty of photos on here but would bore you all! Better just to have a look at the website, although I could be tempted to pop the odd cute photo on here :)

Omg I love Onion!!! I want Onion!!!!! Lol :inlove:

lol... I have justsold/swapped Onion to some well known exhibitors of dwarf lops to get my grandaughter started in the agouti dwarf lops. She's only three at the moment but already thoroughly enjoys entering pet classes, so once she's five we'll get her signed up as a junior member of the brc.

I was sad to see Onion go, but was happy to be helping out another exhibitor in a new line and I have further babies coming along that are Onions siblings, so fingers crossed theywill beas cracking as him.
