Hello! My name is Peter and I'm a first time bunny owner (besides having a couple backyard rabbits as a child). I wanted to do an introduction because you folks seem very nice AND helpful. I always have tons of questions to make sure I'm doing the best I can for my bunny.

I got a 9 week old Netherland Dwarf from a breeder just three days ago, but from the start she seemed to have problems. She just wouldn't eat! And she also didn't really drink from bottles. She ended up getting pretty sick and grinding her teeth all night, so the breeder volunteered to take her back to watch her and I ended up with one of her brothers (the bun in my avatar).

Waffle is super adorable and so different from his sister! He eats all day long and pretty much drags his bowl half a foot across the cage every time he goes for it. As I type I can hear pellets dropping out of his food bowl! He's great with cuddling and is curious about everything around him. He seems to be AMAZINGLY smart, being already potty trained at 9 weeks of age the FIRST night I got him (the previous owner did not do potty training either)!

I hope to be around on these forums for a while and get to know other members!
