Help !!!!!

I have two bunnies, I don't know the sex of them.I have had them since August and they are about 6 months old. Someonetold me that if one is not pregnant yet they might be the same sex.Last night I saw one chasing the other around the cage trying to humpon it, they have never done this before.

My questions are

Can they mate as soon as they are born or do they have to each a certan age first?

Can they mate whenever, or does the girl have to be in heat ?

Once she is pregnant, how long before the babies are born?

How many babies do bunnies usually have?

All rabbits can breed at I believe 12 wks of age.Someone would have to double check that one for me since breedersrecommend breeding at 6 months, and that is what I go by.

Rabbits don't really go in "heat". They can get pregnant whenever they mate.

Gestation is between 28-35 days. Most rabbits give birth on the 31st day.
