We need some help on a color of Rex babies??
The mom had 4 babies.

Yes, in Rex, the Chocolate chestnut is called amber, just like the Chestnut is called Castor.

That baby is a red. A fairly clean one too. Especially to have come from a Castor.
 
The do look a little like smutty reds - both parents would have to carry the recessive non-extension gene for them to be reds.

Check the undercolor - reds should have light undercolor. Amber (chocolate agouti) would have dove-gray undercolor.

Right now, you can only see the undercolor, someone should look up the undercolors that match this. I forget what the amber undercolor is, but they are beautiful when they grow up =)
 
Do they have chocolates or lynx in their pedigreE? It might be lynx,
