My name is Kelsey, and I'm a soon-to-be eighteen year-old rabbit enthusiast. I first started my love of rabbits when I was nine, when my mother thought 4-H would force me to stop being so shy. And, well, it did!
My first rabbit was a chestnut agouti Mini Lop, named Ginger. She had a poor crown, helicopter ears, and a serious attitude... but I loved her all the same. Then, I got "Sage", my Siamese sable Netherland Dwarf... who ended up being male instead of female, and was renamed Chance. Both of these rabbits have passed, but, I still hold their memory very close to me. I loved them both very much.
Currently, I have three Holland Lops, and one Rex. Zeke, a broken-tort Holland Lop buck, is the biggest baby ever. Sadly, in his old age, he has become deaf... but is still lovable as ever! He just takes awhile to realize you're in the room with him. Zeven, a broken-black Holland Lop, is Zeke's son, and the cutest bunny I could possibly ever imagine... but, he has no interest in female rabbits! Blue, a blue Holland Lop (creative, I know), was supposed to be Zeven's mate... but... obviously, she isn't having babies with him anytime soon. And finally, the baby of the group, Apollo, my broken-blue Rex. I had always wanted a larger rabbit, and at the Ohio State Fair... I could resist this little beauty. He thinks he is a lap dog, and will flop on me any chance he gets.
I'm very excited to join this forum, for knowledge is power... and I can never learn enough about rabbits.
