Fleas / ticks question

Hey all,

How would I know if my bunny had fleas or ticks? I try to examine him often and so far haven't seen anything. Sometimes he scratches himself but not too often. Would it be obvious if he had fleas? Would he be scratching like crazy?

I'm wondering because it's that time of year and the bugs are in full swing everywhere! Let me know if you have any tips or red flags I should look out for (or any spray you reccomend)

He would probably be scratching a lot, and you might see flea dust on him. You could check him all over for ticks, if you're concerned. Is he outside?

Nope he's a house bunny. I haven't seen any ticks but I know fleas are really small. I'm nervous because I hate to think of him getting bitten while I'm at work all day and not even know about it. I figure I should take precautions.
