Drinking a lot of water

Hello, I own a 9 year old Mini Rex. I've had him since he was 3. He used to go through a 16oz water bottle in like 4-5 days. The past 2 weeks he's been going through a 16oz in 2 days. Your probably thinking if the bottle is leaking the answer is no. I have felt and watched the bottle for a few hours and not 1 leak. Anyways just curious why my 9 y/o is drinking a 16oz water bottle in 2 days

Is he eating more hay? Is he eating fewer greens? Either one of those could cause a rabbit to drink more.

I had one rabbit that could drink a 20 oz bowl of water in one day. My current rabbit will have some days where he barely drinks and then, overnight, he'll drink almost the entire 20 oz bowl.
