Hi all,

Cookie is about 6 months old now, i guess he is having his puberty as i saw him humping his strawberry toy.

He used to be fresh smelling but recently there seems to be a musky smell on him and his urine.. is this normal?

Is there any way to make him fresh smelling again? ( perhaps neutering ? )

Thanks all!

Neutering should help. If he's a smaller breed he's most likely sexually mature by now. Once that happens they may begin marking, and they do smell a little muskier.

If his litterbox is starting to smell, spinkle a little baking soda under his litter, as long as he doesn't dig in there. It'll absorb the odor for a day or two between litter changes.
