Do rabbits have to be registered to be shown?

I want to show my rabbits. The problem is, theyaren't purebred, and aren't registered. Is there anything I can do so Ican show them?

I don't know about the UK, but in the US thereis a youth club called 4H where you can show mixed breed rabbits in apet category.

In the Uk there fun rabbit shows, mostly held athorse shows they are judged on condition, if you contact thehttp://www.thebrc.org/index.htmlgointo clubs then local and click on your area a list of clubs andcontacts will come up, give them a call and explain, they are usuallyvery helpful and will give you all the information. Oh that sounds like fun! I have a purebred Rex rabbit, who's father is registered, but his mother isn't.

To be shown in ARBA or 4-H a rabbit does nothave to be registered or have a pedigree. They just have to meet thestandard. A couple of my buns will be registered in a coupleweeks. To be registered they must have a pedigree. One of thebuns I have now isnt fully pedigreed but she shows well.
