Hi. I wanted topost this because Iwrote to Steph at LittleFurriesRescue today, and she just wrote meback. Here's what she said:

Hey Jesse, Yes he is doing so much better! Itturned out though, that he had a lower respritory infection and had tostay at the vets for a few days under oxygen. We are having a problembecause we borrowed the money and have to start paying it back so thatis our newest dillema.. always something!. He is home now andrecovering well and almost his normal self again! Please let everyonehere know if you can, I don't have much time these days!

Also, I am in charge of the Lagomorph Lounge Needy BunnyFund. Twice each year we raise money todonate to arescue bunny who has medical needs. Our Easter fundraiser israpidly approaching and I would be happy to nominate Rocky.All nominations are then voted on by our members. The lasttwo donations have exceeded $600! (the rescue does have to bea qualified 503(c) non-profit to qualify though).

For some reason I think I remember that theyre not a registered non-profit. Its all done by private members I think :-(

Paypal is so easy. You have to have a checkingaccount though. You sign up for a free account and give them youraccount info. They verify it with the bank and then you can use theirservice. You just enter the email address of the person you want to payand voila!

Paypal is safe too. At first, I wasreally leery about giving my account info, but I've been a member forover five years and have never once ever had the slightest problem withsecurity. Just log on tohttp://www.paypal.com and follow thesign up instructions.

I don't they are a registered non-profit. Stephtold me not too long ago they filed and I think theyhad atemporary 503(c)number, but now that they are closing soon I don'tthink that will happen. You might want to check with her about it sinceI am just trying to recall past conversations we had. But hopefullythat works out and some more money can go to Rocky's bills.

Hey guys! I only have a second. Rocky is doing great and healing well.

We are waiting for the final stages of our 501(c)(3) we made themistake of doing the paperwork ourselves so it has taken longer thanexpected but we do have a temporary number and an EIN number.

We are not really closing though, one of our volunteers that has beenwith the rescue for a long time is taking over. She is the one that isfostering Rocky! I will still be participating actively but have somepersonal and financialissues that cause me to have to stepdown for a while, thats all.

Hey everyone, thanks so much for keeing in touch with Rocky, it means a lot to us!

Well he is doing well, he had another follow up and everything seems tobe healing better, although he still has the polyps on his kidneys andwill need to do ultrasounds every now and than because there is apossibility that his hernia will come back. ..

Sometimes it seemes never ending, but all it takes is a binky to meltmy heart and reassure me that I did the right thing for him. He hasn'tbeen able to binky properly for months because they had us confine himso the hernia wouldn't get too much bigger, yesterday for the firsttime in a long time he was a binky fool and got the run of thehouse! I will update you with new pictures ASAP..

Has anyone heard how Rocky is doing?
