I just adopted a neutered male to try to bond with my spayed female. We did a mini bunny date when we met him, and they got along okay.
At this point, I have my female in her pen and the male is free ranging my bedroom. They have contact only through the pen bars and kind of have scuffles but they don't seem overly aggressive. I put their food dishes next to each other and they ate their pellets in peace.
Is there anything I should watch for specifically, and is the behaviour above normal for the bonding process? Any tips would be great.
