A doe can get pregnant immediately aftergiving birth. If your buck still had any live "ammo", whichis quite possible, you could have another litter approximately30 days after the birth of this litter. This is another bigargument for keeping does and bucks in separate quarters at all timesunless you want breeding to takeplace. Even when neutered,there is that chance for pregnancy for a time.

The vet had told meto keep him inside for risk ofinfection for one week, but not that little important fact!!! I wasjust surfing around and House Rabbit Society has an article that somefathered kitsup to six weeks after surgery!!!!!!!!!

At this rate I will need an addition to my home:pI washoping to have GIGI spayed right after the kits were weaned and havethem done as soon as safely feasable.
