I had a friend once with very little shame. if she wanted something and we were in public, she'd drop down to the floor and hug me about the ankles. I quickly developed an immunity, lol. if I had her up at IHOP with me while I was working, she'd beg me for a funny face pancake like that and I'd just look down at her and say "do you have ANY idea how filthy that carpet is??" (I did usually end up bringing her the pancake anyway, though)
