Heh, that's right, I now have one more bunny in the house which makes a total of 6. :biggrin2:
Lol. I went to the pet shop for some supplies and a rex I love that had been there for a long time just looked pitiful. She put on a lot of weight and she was so depressed and lonely, all alone in her small cage.
I asked if I could see her, and my friend told me tohelp myself when I come to the shop and not to feel the need to ask. I pet the bunny and then gently picked her up. Man is she ever heavy :?She snuggled on me the whole 20 mins I shopped around. One employee was absolutely stunned, saying they had nicknamed her the "terror". Lol.
I spoke to my friend (who is now store manager) and she agreed that she was miserable. She told me she would have liked to take her but has no more space. She has over 20 animals in a 2 bedroom appartment. (She rescues any baby she can)So, she gave her to me to bring home so I can help her lose some weight and get her more socialized.I am allowed to try to find her a good home, but I can also take her back to the pet shop when she is in better condition.
It looks like I might be able to do this on a more regular basis. It has happened many times before that a bunny required a bit more attention due to some minor issues and she thinks it could be cool to have me on hand. :biggrin2lus, with my new training I think it's a great start for me to put it to good use.
Anywho, this is the new bun... She doesn't look so heavy from the pics, but she has a big round heavy belly, and she cannot run very well and she's terrible at binkies right now. LOL.
