    Still concerned about Oliver

Yep that's right. And yes, I have had x-rays done for him since I last posted. The vet said everything looked good. The vet agrees that something is wrong but doesn't know what else to do to figure it out. Would an x-ray have showed a thymoma or heart problems? If not, what could we do to find...

    Still concerned about Oliver

I posted in here maybe a week ago, concerned about my 9 1/2 year old rabbit, Oliver. He's been to his rabbit-savvy vet twice and she can't find anything wrong with him, but he's still acting weird. I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas about what could be going on, because his vet and I are at...

Can a bunny be housed alone?

For the first 7 years of his life, my 3.5lb dwarf bun lived alone and was fine. I spent lots of time with him, though. The two of us have since moved in with my fiance and his 85lb black lab. My bun looooooves the dog. He is so, so happy to spend the majority of his awake time chasing the dog...

Is it bad to give 1 piece of carrot every day?

Great! Thank you for all the feedback. Exactly--he's used to getting a piece of carrot every night, and when he runs to his dinner bowl I can see him looking for it. I don't like disappointing him. Plus, I'm not much of a carrot person and most of them would go to waste if my bun didn't eat...

Is it bad to give 1 piece of carrot every day?

Maybe an inch long, about as thick as a thumb...maybe a bit thicker.

Is it bad to give 1 piece of carrot every day?

I have a 9.5 year old beautiful bun who is about 3 1/2 lbs. He loves carrot tops, but to get the tops I have to buy the whole carrot. I've been giving him a small piece of carrot with his dinner every night. He loves it, but I don't want to harm him. So my question is, is it ok to give him a...

    Rabbit Eating but lethargic

He has been on metacam for the past 6 months for arthritis. He's generally very good with the vet and has had xrays in the past with no GA. He seems so content right now--eating, pooping, still interested in what's happening around him and purring. I don't understand why he would seem happy if...

    Rabbit Eating but lethargic

Hi everyone! I'm new here, but could really use some quick advice. I have a 9 1/2 year old dwarf rabbit named Oliver. We went to the vet last Thursday due to some strange "cramps" in his back legs. He had a complete checkup and blood work and everything looks great with him. My vet thinks...
