Any bunny owners in California?? :)

Hello, We live in Mountain View (the Bay area), have been here for about 6 months. We're still working on adjusting after moving from Wisconsin. We are about to board our bunny at Sunnyvale Veterinary Clinic over the holidays. We've never boarded him before - any tips? Thanks! Carrie

    California

Hello! Just relocated to Mountain View (from Wisconsin) this past week. If anyone in the area knows of any good places for bunny supplies, a good vet, a good boarding facility (for when we go back to WI at Christmas) I'd appreciate the advice. Thanks!

How to drive long distances with rabbits

Arrived in California a couple of days ago. The trip went better than I expected. Lord Furgus is finally out of the car and happy as can be. Had no issues to speak of.

How to drive long distances with rabbits

Well, we are currently on our 3rd day of traveling in the car (have 2 more days to go) with Lord Furgus. He seems to be tolerating it fairly well. We are averaging 8 - 10 hours on the road. Have his regular night cage wedged in the back seat. He does not seem to eat or drink his usual stuff...

    Hayrack?

    That is a bummer :(

Please share w/ us how your bun share its AFFECTION w/ U.

Lord Furgus is a big licker. He will lick our hands, face or arms, then he'll try to slide his head under our hands so we pet him. He's so sweet he makes it impossible to ignore him.

What does your bunny do to get your attention?

Lord Furgus will either sit on his house when he's in his Xpen or he will pull at the bars with his teeth. He doesn't really have to do much to get our attention, since we think everything he does is cute.

    Hayrack?

Singapore, wow! Yeah, I doubt if they would ship there, but you never know. If you are a little bit handy, you could probably make something similar. Let me know if you want any measurements or other pics of it, I'd be happy to help you out if I can :D

    Hello from Lord Furgus!

Thank you everyone for the warm welcome. My daughter and I were so excited to find this forum. It's nice to know we aren't the only people who love our bunny so much. Sometimes we joke about being "crazy bunny people" because we think everything Lord Furgus does is cute...if he blinks - it's...

    Hello from Lord Furgus!

Just thought I'd finally take a moment to introduce myself and our bunny. We found our bunny Furgus on CraigsList. He was being kept in a garage with a very large dog and did not appear to be getting much in the way of attention and care. We instantly fell in love with him. We had no...

    Hayrack?

Just thought I'd share this: We were having some real hay rack issues. I had the standard ones that hook onto the side of the cage, but found them to be VERY messy. I tried a couple of different things, but then I found these hay racks from BunnyBale.com - they are made to go with their...

How to drive long distances with rabbits

Hi Mandy, Please keep me posted on how your travel works out. I too have a husband in the military (US) and we will be moving from Wisconsin to California with our rabbit at the end of May. We've only had our bunny for about a year and a half and he's never been on a long road trip, at...
