That's not correct, if she is bonded then her mate should go to the vet with her and they should keep them together. If that isn't possible, they should be put in adjacent cages so they can still see and smell each other. Never split up a bonded pair.Hi again I was just reading up about aftercare and it says that not only will she need to be kept inside for a little while afterwards, but also, she cannot be kept with another rabbit until healed. She is very close to her older 5 year old rabbit friend so I just thought I would check to confirm that they cannot be kept together until she is healed. I believe it is to stop mounting which could cause internal bleeding thanks again!
