I’ve read somewhere that older rabbits can’t handle anesthetic when they get neutered.

That the best age for neutering is when the rabbit’s 6 months old. But I’m going to neuter my buck and he will turn 2 years old.

I didn’t dare castrate him around 6 months because he had breathing problems and his stomach always got troubles, he was tiny. But now everything’s okay and was a year since he last had stomach troubles.

Will the neutering be easy for him to go through, he’s literally the family’s baby of my bunnies.

I’ve never been through with a rabbit getting neutered because my other buns had been neutered/ spayed before I got them.

He will be neutered this month or next, so I’m super worried.

Of course, we can never say there isn’t a risk, but that risk is very small with a good rabbit vet. 2 isn’t old, so that won’t be a factor. It’s a decision we can’t really help you make, but statistics are on your side.
