What to put on bottom of carrier?

I’m going to get my rabbit from the breeder tomorrow!! I bought a carrier (way smaller than I thought but will work for now, it’s only a 23 minute car ride) should I just put pee pads down on the bottom of the Carrier or should I put something soft like a towel??

Towel or blanket. Your rabbit may want to hide in it.

I normally bring two towels on car rides. One for the floor of the carrier and one to cover 3 sides of the carrier so the rabbit feels like it can hide.
