What should I look for in Hay?

So I get my hay from SPS, but have been considering
switching from getting my hay from a Local Hay Farm.

What should I look for in the quality & the process?

Any Tips would be greatly appreciated.

Never been wet, no signs of mold(white or black spots, damp inside the bale, sour or musty smell, white dust), no noxious weeds, not too dusty or crumbly. I like a hay that is a mix of crunchy stems and soft leaf, green color on the inside of the bale, sweet grass or tobacco like smell. If you have any of your current hay, take some with you for comparison.
