Found one of my baby bunnies like this today. It was out of the cage. What could this be? Kit will be checked out when I head in to work.

It is clean. Kit is eating, drinking and playing.

I'm not familiar at all with that region in rabbits, but it definitely looks like something is irritated/inflamed. I would recommend a vet visit with a rabbit experienced vet for some guidance. It looks significant enough that it may not resolve itself over time, without intervention.

Yes, I work at an ER vet and bun with be going in with me tonight. Just wondering if anyone had seen this before. It looks like it has ripped from its anus to its penis or vagina and it is very swollen. This little one had escaped the cage twice.
