What breed of rabbit is Junior?

Need more to work with--age, size (weight) just for starters and maybe a few more pics. Looking at the pic, he looks just like our Mini Rex, Bambi.

He was born in April 1st, 2017. I'm not sure exactly about his size or weight, but he's probably less than 5 pounds. That's how heavy my Dutch Rosemary was and she was bigger than him.

He's definitely not a mini rex
Appearance wise, he looks closest to a havana or polish, but without a pedigree I would just call him a mixed breed.

The original owner told me that he was something called Liar, but that sounds weird. How could that be a name of a breed? It's like calling him a liar, it's weird. She also said that those types of rabbits are normally white, but that he just so happened to be black.
We have pics of Finn on the Rainbow Bridge--he was a broken black Havana/Mini Rex. The head and outline look a lot alike and he was a very happy bunny.
