Well we did it!

We brought home our second bun this last Sunday. He is a rescue from the same Humane Society, and is estimated to be a year or two old. He's a sweetheart, and we've named him "Jack." He looks identical to a Californian, but he's smaller (about 4.5 lbs) so I'm assuming he's a mix. The first couple meets with Bella have been okay. A bit of fur pulling, and a lot of grooming standoffs, lol. They sit and stare forever...hopefully one of them will cave soon. Bella is the one in charge, and it doesn't shock me.

So, we'll be busy bonding this week; wish me luck!!

Thanks! I wish I could say that it's love at first sight, but it's not. Bella is a tough one. Bonding isn't for sissies. :thud:

Congrats. Remember if at first you don't suceed run screaming into the night! Oopsie, consistency is usually the key with bunnies so hang tough.

We did a three hour session tonight! Bella stopped nipping Jack in the butt, and Jack finally decided to groom her. So, I think we're making great improvement. :woohoo
