vet asked to see bubbles again

Bubbles's blood work came back and the vet said he is showing some signs of kidney issues. I was just wondering how rare is kidney failure in a 2 1/2 year old rabbit?
I'm not super worried because the vet said that the kidney stuff can just be a symptom of GI stasis.

It would be more common in an older rabbit, but it can happen in any age of rabbit if the disease e. cuniculi is involved.

they are doing a screening for that disease and the vet said that she doubts that he has any issues
