Hi everyone.
I’m at a friends house who literally has a small farm out back (no gmos, no pesticides at ALL) and I’m already planning a nice harvest to bring home to my rabbit. Some questions though......

Can rabbits eat the tops of asparagus? Not the part we eat, but the upper part of the stalks that look like a bush that you never see at the grocery store?

I know they can chew on apple, crab apple, and grape wood.....but what about the grape vines themselves or the leaves of the apple trees? No stone fruit type wood like apricots and plums correct?

But what about pomegranate trees or citrus?
Artichoke leaves?

Thanks in advance! Sometimes quick searches are tricky since I’m not trying to give him the actually fruit or veggie.....just the plants themselves.

Safe Food for Rabbits

I believe asparagus (stalks and leaves) are safe for adult rabbits but only in very small quantities and after it has been very slowly introduced.
