I was out of town this week, and with a family member taking care of both of my feuding rabbits who are kept separate, they somehow managed to get out and fight with each other. Nearly a week later, having just arrived home, I realized that BJ has torn ear. Since the wound is nearly a week old I have no idea what to do. Is neosporin still relevant? Is the super glue that others have used an option? Are stitches required/possible? Will this just be a scar? I'm entirely clueless. It's all dried. I don't know what an infection would look like, but it doesn't seem like one is there. He is acting totally normal, perky as ever. I really have no care for what BJ's ear looks like, I just don't want my man to be in any pain!
