Super sweet so far but hopefully I won't have them for long and they'll get great homes!
The rescue had had to pull their rabbits out of the local Petsmart because they didn't have anyone to foster them, rotate them out and give them a break from being in the store, which isn't an ideal environment, though is a great place to get them some exposure and adopted faster. So they ask me if I could do that. So two of them will be going to the store in the morning.

First up is Flash, he's so cute!

And then Nellie, a big silly sweet girl with helicopter ears. Didn't get good pics of her unfortunately.

And Opal, she seems like a sweetie too. 70976777_2571601806230780_9046838049081655296_n.jpg 71003599_2571601666230794_8547819873567244288_n.jpg 71005955_2571601766230784_7075383670067953664_n.jpg

Ok, they're all cute, but Opal's sweet little face and charcoal color make me melt! Too gorgeous.

Just got this guy in as a stray last night, he's huge and gorgeous with a great temperament, so I doubt I'll have him long. The local animal shelter neutered him yesterday but that seemed not to have phased him at all, he was doing binkies soon after I got him set up. Though he can climb fencing, I found out this morning when he was wondering around downstairs. I've got a fitted sheet over the top of his pen now though, so hopefully that is enough to dissuade him!
He's been named Kumori and will be available for adoption soon.

Zip-tying posterboard or cardboard or something around the top of the pen also works - they get to a certain height and there's no more bars to grab onto. Worked for Nala when she used to climb 48'' x-pen fencing.

Eventful day today! Someone expressed an interest in Nellie, but they are closer to the actual rescue than here, so met up halfway with someone from the rescue and switched off buns. So here is my newest foster Didi! I love her white marked ear. DSC_8152.JPG DSC_8153.JPG DSC_8154.JPG 72852999_2619239981466962_2694996930613739520_o.jpg 72952937_2619239921466968_5567747735676780544_o.jpg 75153929_2619239948133632_5650297526796943360_o.jpg

Fingers crossed for Nellie, I was actually getting very tempted to keep her, so good timing on that!

Then went into Petsmart to change Opal out for Flash and discovered they had just adopted out Kumori this morning. Going to miss (sort of) that lovable asshole.

But I'll be getting another foster in soon to replace him. With 2 spots open at the store, having 4 rabbits to rotate makes it easier to give everyone decent time for exposure at the store and relaxation back here with me.

Yay! Just heard back and sweet Nellie was officially adopted! I'll get my other foster to replace her tomorrow. I'm not sure which they will pick, it'll be one of three boys they are considering and they all look like they will be fun. So it'll be a nice surprise to see who I'm getting tomorrow.
