every time when i let him go outside in thegarden and its time to go back in he starts runnin back and forth andthen he pees while jumping!! i was wondering if you guys have thisprobably. also this is the other thing sometime he starts circling meand then just like in meet the fockers starts humping me!!! this isnasty so im wondering if any of you guys have this probably too. and ifyou do what can i do too stop it???

Let me guess, unneutered boy? Soundslike he's getting a last spray in before he has to go backinside. He's claiming stuff as his property, andif he's spraying you then he's claiming you has his "mate."This and the humping are hormone related and can be resolved by gettinghim neutered. Depending on the vet, your bunny can beneutered as early as his testicles drop (as early as 2.5 months) orsome prefer to wait for another month or two.

It is probably because he is not neutered. Neutering would all but completely stop that behavior.

That's one unneutered bunny. Imagine having 2 males unneutered :) Oh, my life.
How much does it cost to get one neutered? I want to neuterboth eventually, but my parents won't pay for it, so I'm thinking ofsaving up my money because from what I hear it helps out A LOT.

It varies by vet. For neuters, I'veheard anything from $50-200, and I wouldn't be surprised if exoticspecialists in big cities charge more. The cat and dog vetsin my area all charge less than the two vets in driving distance whoactually see rabbits, but I wouldn't trust them with my babies.

yes he isn't neutered and i want to take him tothe vet and get him neutered but i also have problems with my parentsand they say no there isn't another bunny so why neutered him. i haveexplained to them about this and they still say no. i guess if i wantit I'm going to have to use my money and i am currently looking for ajob but no luck :(. he is like 9 months old and like this just startedto happen. other than neutering him isthereanythingelse i can do to stop this behavior???oh and i have heard that if only a special vet may neuter him because iread somewhere that if something goes wrong he might die. is thistrue????

There is some element of danger in neutering, but the risk is very low as long as you make sure you find a vetexperienced with rabbits. Luckily, neutering is cheaper and safer thanspaying (the female version of fixing).

Right on schedule! No, you can't do much about it. Just push him offwhen he gets too lovey. Bucks think spraying is great fun and can'tunderstand why you don't like it too. :)

Neutering is about your only option!

We have a male rabbit, who humps myhusband.

the funny thing is that im the only onethathe humps. he doesnt get near my sister or my lil brotherjust me. ok im going to save and look for a good vet.

LOL! He loves you! You're a bonded pair! :inlove:

This may sound even nastier, but until you can get him neutered, youmay want to buy him a stuffed toy to ... er... play with. (Seriously!)

Totally what I was going to suggest! I have a stuffed rabbit I havealways kept for my boy bunnies. Some are interested and some are not.It really helps them with their frustration, and it diverts that energyaway from you.

This may sound even nastier, but make sure you get one that is somewhat washable... :?

LMAO wow i never thought that would be a optionand yes i think that is a even nastier thing. i rather get him neuterthen to buy a stuffed bunny thing. but thanx for the suggestion.

LOL. Cookie got a stuffed friend a fewweeks ago after he tried to get it on with my arm. He almostfell down the stairs the other day cause he was having so much fun...

Our Benji was real good at this. too! Especially when he developed the ability to jump, spin & spray. For a few months he thought his name was "DUCK!!"

He stopped after we had him neutered and his litter habits improved as well.
