I'm so glad to hear there is a positive and happy ending to this situation! I would have also sobbed in that situation. Glad they're both okay and on the right track!

I'd stick with their regular old diet that they're used to. The benebac was probably a good precautionary idea. I'd just watch carefully to make sure everyone is eating and pooping normally since sometimes stress can induces stasis.
