"Being a breeder must be so fun."

Fun is definitely not the word to describe the dedicated breeders. There's a lot behind raising that cute ball of fluff. Behind the fluffy rabbits is someone who puts countless hours into cleaning, advertising, taking photos, communicating with buyers. Countless dollars into bedding, feed, and all the things bunnies enjoy. Countless tears and effort into the babies that don't always make it, the nervousness of a first time doe having babies, and the worrisome of trusting that doe with these new lives. Behind every smile is a is a tear, and behind every bunny is a story.

Being a breeder is one of the most challenging and rewarding things I've ever done. And even though it is not always easy, I love what I do. And am very thankful for the people I have met in this bunny world. It is so beautiful to watch these babies grow and head to their new families, but we also miss them dearly.
