I took Tesla up to Sherwood Park for a hopping demo on Canada Day (July 1st). Due to space, I decided to just take him, Korr and Amelia (they and bonded and share a carrier).
For his first time really hopping, he did really well. He is pretty unfocused, so it was hard to get him to do 2 obstacles in a row, but once he got the hang of it he was doing better. He does seem to do better when he is focused and can go pretty fast. When he is not focused, it will do 1 jump, then hop off the explore something else, then I get him to do another and he wants to explore again. But for a first time and that i just go him 4 days earlier, he was really good. He also loved to just run around on the grass and had no issues with the harness and leash (other than that I can't keep up). He is a very outgoing rabbit and didn't seem bothered by it at all. He still needs work with being held for more that a couple minutes and he did get freaked out as some jets flew right over us. I guess he likes to be free and running rather than held. He is not a lap bunny
We had a club BBQ today and I took both Tesla and Kraken. They were both good. I had Kraken on the course a bit and he did start to get it. He seems to be one that will do it when he wants and not so much when I want him to. They did both like to just run around on leash. I am not sure if that is just being a tan and that they are a running breed or if it is just them being them. Both of them do need some more time to practise and hopefully I can do it before Stampede in 2 weeks. Since they are so outgoing, I think it will just be something they need to do more than really having to teach them too much.

Wow they are beautiful buns!! I hope there is a show in Edmonton when I come in Aug! lol I would love too make some jumps and see what my 2 can do with them!

All your bunnies looked like they had a ball, especially Babbitty and Amelia. I thought Telsa did really well - he is a sweetheart! Oh, and he wasn't the only one who got freaked out when the jets went over :shock:

I should be in Edmonton some where in the week of aug 13-21, so I will miss your show Too bad my kids would love too see a show, I would too lol. I was thinking of making some jumps with some pvc tubes and seeing if my 2 would jump
