So I have a male house bunny who is almost 5. I noticed these last 2 weeks that he's been a bit extra stinky. More so than usual. I wasnt sure at first if he was in heat and trying to attract a mate with his scent.
The smell is still there, so I tried to check those ducts by his rectum to see if there was any waxy goo that he couldn't clean, and didn't see anything. However his testicle skin isn't fully pink. And near the bottom of them they are a little dark. Not black but like a light brown. I can post a picture tomorrow, because I need an extra pair of hands, but does anyone know if this is normal or does he have an infection? I dont live near vets that can see bunnies so taking him for a routine visit isn't an option atm.
I didn't know if it's something that requires antibiotics, or a simple cleaning, or even just normal. Any help is appreciated. Thanks
