Today I woke up to Herr Hase zooming through the house like there were tigers at his tail, obviously he decided to check out what's on the kitchen table, and got entangled with the fly trap I hung at the lamp there.

What a mess. After removing the trap I still had a sticky rabbit full with dead flies. Water doesn't help, the only thing that works is vegetable oil. Now I have a partly (not much patience, that guy) oiled, sticky, dirty (my two room mates recently decided that their hut in the garden needs a cellar) rabbit, he looks like Hobo Rabbit From Hell.

Just wanted to share some of the fun our doom brings now and then...

Dish soap is really good for removing oil, it’s what we use for any birds that come in oiled!
The chaos that is your life hahaha, that’ll teach Herr Hase :p

Well, the vegetable oil is just a minor aesthetic problem, I didn't soak him in it and they better clean it off themself, I would worry more about using soap.

It's already better now. I'm going to leave a piece of bread on the table, just to see if he learned anything. Dotty doesn't go there, she prefers window sills.

With something attached to him he was the closest to freaked out I've ever seen him, thank god none of his limbs got entangled, it just stuck from the ears to his tail (around that).

Dawn dish sop is good for. I think with sticky stuff you need mineral oil. Call a vet and ask for advice.
