Spraying?

Rocket will pee anywhere he wants when he is out of his cage. I leave the cage door opened for full access to his cage/litter box but he's never jumped back into his cage to go potty. He knows he's not supposed to do it bc afterwards when he sees me coming towards him, he'll jump in his cage as that's what I make him do when he pees on my floor. He also had sprayed me on multiple occasions. Spinning his butt in a circle and pee follows. Does anyone have this problem? He's a male and he's 2 years old.

Is he fixed? Fixing him will help with a lot of problems

No. I'm getting him fixed in January. I'm worried it's such a learned behavior that neutering won't help.

I have a rabbit who would spray me every time I walked by his cage. Neutering definitely helped. He is now litterbox trained too and never has any pee accidents when out of the cage.

He has always been really sweet. He has a wife now though and he no longer tries to rape the dog LOL.
