Slit in his ear

I noticed that Lűmi has a perfectly triangular, fully healthy looking small slit on his right ear and he doesn't mind if i touch it.
So i was wondering: do some breeders mark their litters in such ways?

Not great clear ones but he wouldn't stay still for me to get better pics.

I know Toste got one slith on the ear after fighting with Lilja.

I have heard that a few breeders can do a slith on the ear. But I think it’s largly just a small injure Lümi managed to get somewhere maybe from his previous bond mate

Or perhaps the dog that kept bullying him...?

It can also be the dog, at least it was a small slith and seem to healed nicely

It's likely to either be from the mom when your bun was just born(over grooming) or from another rabbit bite later on. Those are the most common reasons anyways.
