Hi everyone,

I got our mini lop bunny at 7weeks, she is now 9weeks, Oreo is an energetic bunny. I’m probably worrying over nothing but she has been very sleepy most of the day.
Does anyone have advice?
Thanks

Rabbits are crepuscular, meaning they're most active in the early morning and late evening usually. So they'll sleep mostly during the day, getting up occasionally to eat, drink, and poop, then go back to nap. If your rabbit is still eating normally, and is being active in the morning and/or evening, then that's normal. If like in the photo, your rabbit is flopped out like that, that mean's your rabbit is comfortable and relaxed.

However, if your rabbit is lethargic even in the morning and evening, and has stopped eating/pooping as well or isn't eating very much, this is called GI stasis and your rabbit needs to be seen be a knowledgeable rabbit vet right away. A rabbit that's stopped eating can mean it's an emergency, especially if it's been more than 12-24 hours since your rabbit last ate. Also if your rabbit is showing any other signs of discomfort or pain like sitting hunched up and not wanting to move, loud tooth grinding(not the same as contented tooth purring), trembling, eye squinting, belly pressing with the front end pushed up, repeatedly shifting position from belly pressing to sitting up and looking uncomfortable, etc.
