Currently I have a brother sister pair that are penned separately since he started mounting her. They are almost 3 months old and it will be another month before he gets neutered. I was wondering if it would be ok to let them out in the living room to run around together for a bit. I would of course want them constantly. Is that reasonable or am I risking fate? O just want to help keep their bond intact. They are penned side by side.

Imo, not a good idea, by any means. There is no bond. Bonding happens with adults, kits and horny teenager always get along.

They'll be fine separated by pen -- you don't need to let them 'play' together. A baby bond is different than the bond people refer to between two (typically) fixed rabbits. Please see here for more information about the difference between a false bond and true bond: Bonding Bunnies
