Hey guys. I was wondering if my mini rex rabbit, Mocha would be able to be used for show and if her colors were good to use. Alot of you guys on here know alot about rabbits and any help would be amazing. I dont want to put all the hard work into getting her ready for show and then in the end she turns out to not be such a great show rabbit. If any more pictures are needed I can take some in the morning and post them. Thanks for any help. Any comments are appreciated as for I know how worse judges at shows can be.

Her markings look okay (she's tricolor but that would be entered as "Broken" for the color)
However, she looks very big, with long ears. You might want to check her weight and ear length, max is 4.5 lbs (for weight) and 3.5 inches (for ear length), above that is a disqualification

Do you think she could possibly be a rex instead of mini rex? The people I got her from really didnt tell me much about her just that she was mini rex. And I too though her ears looked awfully large

She might be, but she also looks small for a rex. A lot of mini rex lines tend to run large, especially in the brood does.

I have rex/mini rex mixes and they look to be the same size if you can get her weight I can tell you what I think. My rex/mini rex are about 8lbs.

If she weight 8 lbs or over, you can enter her as a Rex. If she's under the minimum senior doe weight for Rex, but over the maximum senior doe weight for Mini Rex, she'll be disqualified as either breed.

Would she be considered a broken booted Amber? She is one of my rex/mini rex rabbits. I know her dad is pure mini rex but her mom was too big for a mini rex and on the smaller side for a rex so I just considered mine a rex/mini rex. The parents are not mine and the owner of the parents does not have any info on the mom.

That one looks like a booted chocolate tort (might be a booted tort, hard to tell from the image)

See I thought that at first but several breeders told me that there is no such thing as a chocolate tort. I know she is a tort and it is not just smut she has thrown torts. I thought it was a very light tort. Seeing you are an ARBA judge other than her being booted how do you think she would do on the show table (color wise)

Chocolate tortoise is also not recognized, even if it weren't booted, so there isn't a standard for what a good chocolate tortoise looks like in mini rex. If I were judging her off the normal tortoise standard, I'd say not too bad, she has pretty good intensity of the red color.
