Should I get another rabbit?

So I have a 4 year old female bunny snowflake whose partner died very early onn, a few days after we got her. After that we got a few more bunnies but they' didnt last long because of some disease they got from the place we got them from, thankfully snowflake was not infected.

Now because she is a lone bunny and I can only really play with her 1-2hrs a day because I am busy with school and all should I try to get another bunny? Also should I be concerned about her compatibility with the other bunny considering that she has been living without interaction with another rabbit for so long-about 4 years?

If so,which gender should I get and should I get snowflake and the other bunny neutered? What else should I do to ensure a good compatibility for both?

Most easy and likely to succeed would be a neutered male. If she did get along with other rabbits before, i would think she can do that again.

If there are animal shelters that have rabbits I would start the search there.

If you're currently in the country you have listed in your profile, whether or not to get another rabbit and what sex of rabbit, will depend on if you have access to an experienced rabbit vet that has the knowledge how to safely spay or neuter rabbits. And also if you have animal shelters that have rabbits and if they spay/neuter their rabbits, so you could maybe do 'bunny dates' to find a rabbit your rabbit will get along with and like.

If you don't have a good rabbit vet or a shelter with fixed rabbits, getting another rabbit to bond with your rabbit will be difficult. You could try an unspayed female rabbit, but if your rabbit isn't spayed and the other female rabbit isn't spayed, it could make bonding a bit more difficult.

If you do have a good rabbit vet, usually the best and easiest matches are spayed female, neutered male. If you can find an already neutered male to have a 'bunny date' with your rabbit to see if they even like each other, that would be the best way to find a compatible match for your rabbit. Not all rabbits get along. Your rabbit will decide what other rabbits she might like, and that is how to know which rabbit she can bond with.

There are good rabbit vets I know, but I have to look into the spayed/neutered rabbit shelters. Thanks
