Should I bother trying to bond before fixing?

Hi there! I have two female house rabbits who are scheduled to be spayed at the end of July (the clinic I can afford is very busy!) I'm wondering if it's worth trying to bond them before they get spayed? I've read that lots of bonded pairs have to go through the process of bonding again due to the hormone differences after spaying, so I don't want to go through the trouble of bonding them now if i'm just going to have to do it all over again in a few months. Thanks in advance!

I wouldn’t do it. Rabbits can hold grudges, so if the rabbits get into a fight, it could make the bonding after spaying horribly hard. I’d say, just get them spayed and then after a month, begin to bond
