Hi All
My bunny had her babies on Saturday night making them three days old. She built a nest really well, lots of fur and they were all delivered fine. They are constantly warm to touch and wiggling around as they should be. However I’ve seen online that their bellies should be round as though they have swallowed a grape? Well, their bellies are definitely not empty however their skin is a little wrinkly. Not excessively and I did the dehydration test when you pinch the back of the neck they are fine. What does everybody think?
thank you.

Here they are. 3 different ones taken today. I didn’t want to touch them too much.

They look good. And as long as mom trusts you, you can and need to check on them. If she gets antsy when you mess with them give her a treat. You need to check for any dead kits and flip them over and check that there is no build-up on their genitals. If there is just gently pull it off. If you are worried about there not being enough milk you can give mom a tablespoon of old fashioned oats a day.
